So, you want to enjoy a Cuban feast but don’t know where to begin?
Well, allow us to introduce you to our brand new food menu. This is the first blog in our three-part series exploring some of our favourite dishes.
Here we delve into the difference between a Quesadilla and an Empanada, whilst allowing you to enjoy the taste of the tropics without ever having to leave your local city centre.
Say hello to Tapas
Noun: small Spanish savoury dishes, typically served with drinks at a bar.
For us, Tapas dishes are all experiencing delicious flavours whilst sharing freshly made food with your favourite people. For 2 people sharing, we recommend 3 tapas as a starter or 6 as a main. Some of our favourite dishes are:
Empanadas
These South-American-styled fried pasties are served with chimichurri sauce and might just become your new favourite tapas dish.
You can choose from the traditional Beef Picadillo which is an incredibly traditional Cuban dish, made with minced beef, peppers, tomatoes, raisins and olives or you can choose the vegetarian alternative of spiced black beans and feta.
Both are delicious and we know that you’ll love them.
Tacos
Each serving comes with two soft flour & corn tortillas filled with rum slaw, pickled red cabbage, coriander and then your choice of toppings, which are:
Ginger Beer Chicken with Pineapple Salsa
Pulled Beef with Tomato Salsa
Mojo Pulled Pork with Pineapple Salsa
Jackfruit Chilli with Tomato Salsa
If you love Tacos as much as we do, join us for a SpecTACOular Sunday when Tacos are just £2 (unless you’re in Belfast, in which case it’s a standard Taco Tapas dish and fries for £5). Sundays never felt so good. Click here to learn more about this food offer.

Nachos
You’ve had Nachos before, but have had Revolucion de Cuba Nachos before?
Our iconic lightly salted tortilla chips are topped with cheese sauce, you know the kinda that really melts in your mouth, fresh homemade guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo and of course jalapenos for an extra bit of spice.
Topping-wise, you can either choose from Beef Picadillo or Jackfruit Chilli. Both of which are as good for the taste buds as they are for the soul.

There are PLENTY more dishes to choose from, 16 more tapas dishes to be exact. Here are some of our team favourites:
Pork Belly Skewers
The portion size is really filling and the spicy rum sauce glazing gives a serious kick, which I love. The pork is always really tender. I order it every time.

Gambas Pil Pil
Who doesn’t love King Prawns in garlic butter? They’re juicy, refreshing and absolutely delicious. They’ve also got a touch of chilli and paprika which finishes the dish off perfectly.
Evie, Harrogate
Spicy Fried Chicken
It’s the perfect amount of spice without being too hot. Deliciously crispy and perfect combo dipped in the rum mayo.
